Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Policy covers booking and reservation cancellations, event and ticket status changes, and approved refunds where payment functionality has been activated.

2. Bookings and reservations

A booking is a request for time and is not a purchase. A requested booking may be accepted, declined, or cancelled. An accepted booking may be completed or cancelled.

Customers may cancel their own bookings where the platform permits cancellation. Businesses may manage booking requests through the features available to them. Business-specific booking conditions apply only where the relevant business has stated them.

3. Events and tickets

The reviewed ticketing source supports free-ticket claims for eligible ticket types. A free-ticket cancellation changes the relevant order and ticket status; it is not a monetary refund.

An event may be closed or cancelled through the available event controls. Closing stops new claims. Cancelling an event does not by itself cancel every issued ticket or create a payment refund.

4. Payment status and approved refunds

Ovynta is preparing payment processing through PayU. Payment functionality will become available after merchant onboarding and activation are complete. Ovynta does not represent payment processing as currently live.

Where a refund is approved after payment functionality has been activated, Ovynta will issue the refund within five to seven business days of approval. The time at which the customer receives the credit depends on the customer's bank or payment provider.

5. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Imphal, Manipur have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from this Policy.
